Fascial Lines

In his seminal work“Anatomy Trains”, Thomas Myers describes a well defined, interconnected Fascia l network that extends throughout the body. Specific Fascial Lines represent distinct biomechanical pathways for Myofascial Force Transmission and tension distribution. In terms of understanding underlying pathomechanics of musculoskeletal dysfunction and consequently directing treatment, each Fascial Line maps a continuity of related Muscles and intersecting Fascia . Through the interconnected nature, these lines serve as a plausible mechanism for referred musculoskeletal dysfunction.
